Summary

Makes Fleetbase's last-mile page the cornerstone for "last mile delivery software" — our best near-term keyword target (US vol 1,800/mo, Difficulty 6, intent = delivery/logistics, parent topic Onfleet).

Why upgrade the existing page instead of a new URL: /solutions/use-cases/last-mile-delivery already targets this term and already has internal links from the navbar, /solutions hub, the FleetOps page, and the sitemap. A second page would cannibalize it. Upgrading in place keeps all that link equity on one URL.

Research backing it (from Ahrefs)

What changed

  • H1 now contains the exact keyword — "Open-Source Last Mile Delivery Software." Previously the H1 ("The Last Mile is Where You Win or Lose") had no keyword, a major on-page miss.
  • Open-source-vs-proprietary wedge added as a lead feature, a pain point, a stat ("$0 per-driver fees"), and FAQs — the differentiator vs Onfleet/Track-POD/Shipday, and it also captures the uncontested "open source delivery management software" variant.
  • Structured data addedFAQPage + SoftwareApplication JSON-LD (the shared layout emitted neither), for rich-snippet eligibility. BreadcrumbList already present.
  • Commercial-intent FAQs — "Is it really open source?", "How does it compare to Onfleet?", "Can I self-host?", "How much does it cost?"
  • Fixes the doubled | Fleetbase | Fleetbase <title> (pre-existing on this page).

Verification (local)

Renders 200; H1 carries the keyword; <title> = "Last Mile Delivery Software | Fleetbase" (single); FAQPage, SoftwareApplication, and BreadcrumbList JSON-LD all present. Screenshot confirmed.

Expected outcome & next steps

Top 10 within ~1–2 months, top 5 achievable without new links (the #4/#6 pages are DR 40–48). Follow-ups: (1) a few backlinks to this URL accelerate it; (2) this becomes a supporting page for the eventual "delivery management software" (KD 41) hub.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Upgrades the existing /solutions/use-cases/last-mile-delivery page into the
cornerstone for the "last mile delivery software" keyword (US vol 1,800,
KD 6) instead of creating a competing URL — avoids cannibalization and
keeps its existing internal links (navbar, /solutions hub, FleetOps page,
sitemap).

Changes:
- H1 now contains the exact keyword ("Open-Source Last Mile Delivery
Software") — previously the H1 had no keyword at all.
- Adds the open-source-vs-proprietary wedge (no per-driver fees, self-host,
full API) as a lead feature, pain point, stat, and FAQs — the
differentiator vs Onfleet/Track-POD/Shipday, and captures the
uncontested "open source delivery management software" variant.
- Adds FAQPage + SoftwareApplication structured data (the shared layout
  emitted neither) for rich-snippet eligibility.
- Commercial-intent FAQs (open source?, vs Onfleet?, self-host?, pricing?).
- Fixes the doubled "| Fleetbase | Fleetbase" <title> (template already
  appends the suffix).

Verified locally: renders 200, H1 carries the keyword, and FAQPage,
SoftwareApplication, and BreadcrumbList JSON-LD are all present.
