Summary

New cornerstone page at /delivery-management-software targeting the flagship keyword "delivery management software" (US 1,100/mo) — built as a hub that also captures the same-SERP variants in one page (no cannibalization).

Why this is winnable now (research-backed)

  • The KD-41 label comes from the DR 70–91 leaders, but the page-1 floor is weak: positions 7–10 are held by DR 15, 22, 22, 28 pages — all below Fleetbase's DR 41. Realistic path onto page 1.
  • I verified "delivery management system" returns the same SERP as "delivery management software", so one hub captures both intents:
Variant US vol KD
delivery management software 1,100 41
delivery management system 500 3
delivery management 500 0
open source delivery management software 60 ~0
  • The recently-optimized last-mile page links up to this hub, feeding topical authority.
  • (Considered and rejected "fleet management software" — bigger, but a DR 63–97 brand fortress with no opening at our authority.)

What's in the page

  • Keyword in the H1 ("Open-Source Delivery Management Software").
  • The open-source-vs-proprietary wedge (no per-driver fees, self-host, full API) as the lead feature.
  • 7 feature blocks covering the whole operation: open source, order & dispatch, route optimization, live tracking, proof of delivery, analytics, and "built for every delivery type."
  • "What is delivery management software?" + system-vs-software + commercial FAQs — captures the definitional/system intent on the same page.
  • FAQPage + SoftwareApplication structured data.
  • Factual stats only (AGPL, $0 per-driver fees, REST API) — no invented metrics, no fabricated testimonial.

Internal linking

  • Hero CTA → the last-mile page (cluster link).
  • Added to sitemap.ts and the footer Solutions section for site-wide discoverability.

Verification (local)

Renders 200; H1 carries the keyword; <title> = "Delivery Management Software | Fleetbase" (single suffix); FAQPage + SoftwareApplication JSON-LD present; footer link and sitemap entry confirmed. Screenshot captured.

Follow-ups

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

New cornerstone page targeting "delivery management software" (US 1,100,
KD 41) — built as a hub that also captures the same-SERP variants
"delivery management system" (KD 3), "delivery management" (KD 0), and
"open source delivery management software".

Why now: the SERP's page-1 floor is weak (positions 7-10 are DR 15-28,
below Fleetbase's DR 41), and the last-mile page already links up to this
hub, feeding it topical authority.

- New page at /delivery-management-software using SolutionPageLayout, with
the keyword in the H1, the open-source-vs-proprietary wedge, 7 feature
blocks covering the full delivery operation, and commercial + "what is"
FAQs that capture the system/definition intent.
- FAQPage + SoftwareApplication structured data.
- Factual stats only (open source, $0 per-driver fees, REST API) — no
invented performance metrics, no fabricated testimonial.
- Internal links: hero CTA -> last-mile page; added to sitemap.ts and the
footer Solutions section for site-wide discoverability.

Verified locally: renders 200, keyword in H1, single-suffix title, both
JSON-LD blocks present, footer link and sitemap entry confirmed.
