A web-compatible exception class used by web platform APIs. See
[`DOMException`][] in the globals documentation, [MDN DOMException][], and the
[WHATWG DOMException][] specification for details.

`DOMException` instances use the `name` property to identify the error type,
such as `'AbortError'`. The `code` property is a legacy numeric value, so use
[`domException.name`][] instead when checking the error type.
