Documents automatic agent selection in MCP sessions via the new
route_agenttool, which mirrors the in-product AI Router experience.Changes
route_agentto the agent context tool list, marked it as the preferred way to pick an agent, and updated the agent workflow example to useroute_agentinstead of manuallist_agents+set_agent.Context
Upstream PR enables automatic routing of user prompts to the best-fit AI agent in Lightdash MCP, matching the Ask AI experience in the product. Users (and AI assistants) no longer need to manually pick an agent before asking a question.
