I'm not jwheare, but I'll offer something.

The clients included in the support table have implicitly been assumed to be meant for public consumption. Now with the proliferation of LLM-assisted projects, the question about being actually ready for public consumption becomes more and more relevant.

The maintainers of the support table feel more responsibility to vet the proposed clients. Some ways that I think would make it easier:

  • add an AI policy describing how LLMs can be used in development
  • with each commit done with LLM assistance, explain in the message which LLMs were used and how, preferably at the level of lines of code
  • don't implement multiple features in a single commit

The commits and commit messages of AndroidIRCx are very confusing. The subject line is a version number. The messages might resemble release notes instead of explaining what the commits do. The commit messages may be duplicated. There are commits with dozens of files changed.
