This Code of Conduct applies to all Upstream Intelligence repositories, issues, pull requests, discussions, email, and any other community channel.
- Specific, evidence-backed feedback
- Patience with people learning
- Constructive disagreement
- Crediting contributors fairly
- Asking before assuming intent
- Personal attacks, name calling, or insults
- Harassment of any form, public or private
- Sharing protected health information (PHI) in any form. This is healthcare. PHI in an issue, PR, or discussion is an immediate close plus delete plus permanent ban.
- Discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or nationality
- Publishing others' private information without explicit permission
- Conduct that is reasonably considered inappropriate in a professional setting
Report violations to hello@upstream.cx with the subject line "Code of Conduct".
Maintainers respond within 48 hours. Possible actions in escalating order:
- Private warning with the specific behavior cited
- Public warning attached to the offending content
- Temporary suspension from the community channel (1 to 30 days)
- Permanent ban from all Upstream Intelligence community channels
Maintainers reserve the right to remove any content that violates this Code of Conduct.
Reports are confidential. The maintainers will not disclose your identity to the reported party without your explicit permission.
