It seems that jenssegers/model is a pretty stale package at the moment. They have added support for Laravel 12 last year, which was not even released into a new version, but apart from that, nothing happened. This package is now blocking our upgrade to Laravel 13.
The reason for this issue is to have a discussion whether or not it would be feasible to drop the package and take in the source of it into the API client. It's not a very complicated package and I think any backwards incompatible changes made by Laravel, if any, are easily resolved.
What's your stance on this?
