I don't understand how to use a custom implementation to load my stories, the example could be much more helpful if it contained something I could apply right away in my code

Thanks for reaching out to us with your feedback. We appreciate it 🙏 ! However, to give some additional context on this for whoever sees it, as every project and organization may provide their approach on the subject, adding an accurate example would be nigh impossible as it would open up the documentation and examples to quickly get out of hand as more and more users would ask for an implementation that mirrors their project, leading to an extremely high maintenance burden. With that out of the way, we're not going to commit to it and going to close this discussion as it will not acted upon in the near future.
