Thanks for reaching out to us with your feedback. Appreciate it. Indeed you're correct. As of Storybook 7.0 the maintainers did a lot of work on the types, including the change you've mentioned. Can you elaborate more on what's not correct? If you mean the missing JSDoc types, we left them out to collect some consensus and keep documentation lean. If you don't add the types, Storybook will continue to function, and the example you mentioned should work as well, but it can make it a bit trickier to debug some configuration issues that may arise, as you don't have the types/options available by default.
