I need to know how to TURN ON CONTROLS and it's GUI in the bloody Storybook! This information is NOWHERE! I keep seeing it when my team shares, but I can't figure out how to turn it on. |

Thanks for reaching out to us with your feedback. Appreciate it. 🙏 ! And despite understanding your frustration, do you mind trying not to use caps as they may be interpreted as offensive? With that out of the way, can you elaborate a bit more on what you're experiencing? If I'm understanding correctly, the controls addon panel is not showing up for you, but it's enabled when a fellow team member showcases it. Have you tried accessing the Storybook configuration options and checking if the "Show addons" option is enabled? See here for context. If that doesn't work, could you try and clear your cache, restart Storybook, and try again? If any of the above doesn't solve your problem, could you try and open up an issue here and hopefully, either one of the maintainers or someone in the community may follow up with you and help you debug the issue. The table of contents on the right shows a "Troubleshooting" section with a sub-section heading of "Controls are not automatically generated for my component". It doesn't actually exist on the page, though. The "Troubleshooting" section isn't there. I was directed here by this warning in my Storybook instance: "This story is not configured to handle controls. Learn how to add controls" |

I think my problem with Storybook not automatically understanding how to create controls for my args is that my TSX component defines its props like this: export interface HelpDrawerProps extends DrawerProps, AnalyticsOverrideProps {}I'm guessing the built-in type generator can't follow those definitions. |
