Vue component in MDX or hide stories from sidebar in Storybook 7

before we had the option of hiding default csf exports but still able to load them in mdx. https://github.com/storybookjs/storybook/blob/6e19f0fe426d58f0f7981a42c3d0b0384fab49b1/code/addons/docs/docs/recipes.md#csf-stories-with-mdx-docs
Has this been removed ?

I also get render errors when importing .vue components into .mdx files. Does one need a loader, or package or is this not possible with vite, vue, storybook at this time. It is supported in React versions.
