If @storybook/preset-create-react-app is deprecated, then why is it installed by default with npx sb init?

According to this documentation, preset-CRA was removed. But why is it that when I run npx sb init it installs it? I bring this up because I've been running into package dependency issues because of specifically this preset and had a difficult time tracking down how important it was to keep or remove. :/
