Template for edited book as single .pdf

Description

I am searching for a (academic) book template that renders the chapters with authors and affiliations for each chapter and then stitches everything together as a single book that is then rendered as .pdf through latex.

My current base template does render, but it does not render the authors/affiliations of the chapters (only for the front page of the whole book as defined in the global _quart.yml).

Though there are a few amazing books out there as inspiring examples, I haven't found one with different authors per chapter that I can copy, extend, and build on… Any suggestions or help is really appreciated!
