In my opinion, A pull request may be closed when it appears to have been submitted without meaningful human understanding, interaction, or review. The use of AI-assisted tools is not, by itself, grounds for closure. The concern is whether the contributor has taken responsibility for the proposed changes and can demonstrate an understanding of the problem, the implementation, and its impact on the project.
