Do you mean ANSII escape sequences for colour in terminals?

Given that JSON logs are designed to be machine readable I'm somewhat against including colour escape sequences in the library.

Yes, I mean the ANSI escape code for color in terminal for better lookup, especially like the level:INFO as:

I know the json is designed for be machine readable, for better logging parse. But like those logging tools like Loki, it support removing/keeping color code. Here a logging view from Grafana, the color somehow is obvious in first look.

Maybe, it can be used as an optional? 😊

That's pretty neat, but also potentially pretty niche. Without a significant show of support for such a feature (if this is you please thumbs up the issue rather than commenting), I don't think this is something I'd want to support at the point in time.

I would accept an addition to the cookbook for now though.
