Laravel Integration - Causes Links To Appear In Modal

Hi

I tired this out when i saw someone on LinkedIn commenting on a livewire post that allows this feature.

However in a Laravel, Inertia & Vue project i have created the links when clicked for the first time are appearing inside a modal within the current page.

This is a Laravel - 8.54 project.

I have tried it in a newer project - Laravel 10 - and it is working fine.

Both Locally on my machine currently.
