Copilot in integrated VS Code Terminal shifts cursor into a file and out of terminal

Describe the bug

Sometimes, when user is working out of the terminal with copilot CLI, the active cursor will jump to a file that copilot is working on.

This is disruptive because when it is time to type out the next prompt, the prompt will be entered into the .md file by default.

This is hinders the user from experiencing a seamless flow. And does not occur when working with Claude Code

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Type prompt into Copilot that results in code change in VS Code integrated terminal

Expected behavior

Cursor does not leave active window within VS Code
