i'm running copilot cli in wsl. when i press cntrl+y to edit the plan, it tries to open an editor on the windows host (suggesting notepad and other apps). i would like the option to edit in the wsl terminal with vim.

I'd like to edit plans in VS Code, so perhaps this could be configurable?

when I open plan with Control+Y in vim, after close with :q I cant rollup the terminal and select texto to copy or past

ctrl-y now (v0.0.415) opens in vim. Just like the previous commenter I also prefer to edit in VSCode instead.

Certainly its just me who always annoyingly gets trapped inside vim all the time. So my workaround is to ctrl-click at the bottom status line in vim, which shows the file path, which then opens VSCode. Then I just have to remember to type ':q!', and not panically close my terminal window and lose my copilot session.

This has been fixed in v0.0.412. Ctrl+Y now opens the plan in your configured terminal editor (including vim/vi), respecting the COPILOT_EDITOR, VISUAL, or EDITOR environment variables. If you prefer VS Code, setting EDITOR="code --wait" works as well. If you believe this isn't resolved, please feel free to reopen this issue.
