1. Start eca your default model could be github-copilot/gpt-5.1
2. Change model to github-copilot/claude-opus-4.6
3. Chat with LLM.
4. Call eca stop
5. Start eca again
6. your default model is github-copilot/gpt-5.1
7. You do /resume latest
8. Your model should change to github-copilot/claude-opus-4.6

Currently in last step you will still see github-copilot/gpt-5.1, which does not make sense really.
