About the icon
Pony is an open-source, actor-model, capabilities-secure, high-performance programming language. It features a unique reference capability system (iso, val, ref, box, tag, trn) that makes data races impossible by construction, with no garbage-collection pauses. It is available as an Exercism track, has an active community, and has been in production use since ~2014. It deserves a place in devicon alongside other notable systems languages (Rust, Zig, Nim, etc.).
