I like the new layout and black theme. I find it easier to navigate and the information I'm looking for was easier to find. I did noticed the links to the demos is broken. I get a page with 403 forbidden message. The URL it goes to is https://download.codenameone.com/demos/. The 'Developers Guide(HTML)' link under the Documentation & Demo Source Code section on the Docs page is broken. The link goes to https://beta.codenameone.com/developer-guide/, but I get a 404 page. On the same page the link 'Tutorials & Documentation List' is pointing to the same URL. |

Congrats on the move to Hugo! I totally relate to the struggle with Elementor bloat, its a nightmare to scale and maintain. I'll be honest, I was always a bit ashamed to include that site in my portfolio and for the noob Elementor recommendation back then, not knowing the technical debt. Stopped using it long ago and exclusively use Bricks if WP is needed, or just Astro or WebStudio for when static makes sense. Also, great choice with Cloudflare Pages too! |

Thank you, Shai! This blog hasn't actually been used much in recent years. I hope this change will enable you to share all the latest news on it. I have a question about the documentation: Is this now the "only" developer guide, or are these two guides by Steve Hannah still useful as additional resources? Codename One Maven Developer Guide Getting Started with the Bare-bones Java App Template Additionally, including a Table of Contents on the left in the HTML version of the developer guide, as in the two guides by Steve linked above, would greatly improve navigability. |

Why we moved the Codename One website from WordPress to Hugo and Cloudflare Pages, what improved, and how to use Giscus for discussions.
