What do you want to work on?

I tried installing openshell with uv on my Ubuntu 22.04 box and it failed because the wheels only target glibc 2.39. I want to fix the build so it produces wheels that also work on older glibc.

Why this change?

This issue affects systems running glibc versions earlier than 2.39. For example, Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 12, RHEL 9, and Amazon Linux 2023...
