The Registry of Extensions describes three extensions:
- navPlace
- Text Granularity
- Georeference
All of these are extensions to Presentation 3.x - they cannot be extensions of Presentation 2.x for compatibility reasons.
But they (or some of them) can be extensions to Presentation 4. There needs to be additional information on the registry page and in each extension describing their applicability to different Presentation versions.
- navPlace is baked into Presentation 4, so no longer is an extension for P4 publishers.
- Text Granularity is applicable to both
- Georeference is probably applicable to both, but its introduction of Point geometry possibly requires some changes (unknown)
Editorial issues:
- The table on the registry page should have have additional column(s) describing applicability.
- Each extension should have a section about its applicability.
